United Capes

In August 2025, I founded a Discord based creative service called BJC Services. BJC Services specialized in custom Roblox capes, offering players a streamlined and interactive ordering experience.

We developed a custom Discord bot that allowed users to open tickets, choose from predefined templates, and fully customize their capes. One of our most popular offerings was a glass style cape template, which became a recognizable part of the service’s identity. Over several months, we delivered capes to a wide range of users and built a small but active customer base.

As the service grew, I began developing a second version of the bot designed to significantly expand functionality. Version 2 aimed to be a complete platform upgrade, introducing AI assisted cape generation, banner creation, an expanded ordering catalog, and a fully automated order pipeline. The goal was to reduce manual workload while increasing creative flexibility for users.

While the vision for Version 2 was ambitious, development revealed critical challenges. The system included automated image handling and Roblox asset uploads, which required strict safeguards. During testing, those safeguards proved unreliable, creating risks that could not be responsibly ignored. At that point, I was the sole developer maintaining the system, and it became clear that releasing Version 2 without compromising platform safety was not feasible within the project’s scope. Due to mental health, I couldn’t keep up.

Rather than abandoning the service entirely, I made the decision to preserve its value. The project was rebranded as United Capes, reverted to the stable Version 1 bot, and prepared for transfer. I then sold the server and Version 2 to Starview, who continue to operate the server independently.
